This major regeneration project is being undertaken in 4 main phases of work, two of which are complete, the third phase is under construction and the final phase is in progress.
The linen house was adapted to form apartments and leisure facilities including a swimming pool, spa, sauna and fitness suite on the lower floor of this 5 storey structure. The Flax House is a 4 storey building that has been adapted to a blend of modern townhouses, apartments, duplexes and penthouse accommodation. Bobbin Court is a single storey building which is being extended to 4 1/2 storeys to provide a mix of townhouses and luxury apartments.
This listed former linen and flax mill site has been converted into a secure complex with mature landscaped grounds featuring the pond and the original mill stream which act as a wildlife reserve. The internal courtyard has been sensitively hard landscaped with materials to complement the existing buildings. The Mill Village was awarded Belfast Telegraph Residential Development of the year in 2006 and again in 2007.
